Bluewater Bait supplies high quality herring from North King Bait, Gray's Harbour, and Tom Brown's Sport Bait. Product is fully starved, and has excellent scale retention. The herring is handled in small amounts to maintain scale retention, and is shock-harvested, processed, and blast frozen immediately. Once frozen, it is kept at -30F until delivery. Most of our sportsbait herring products are vacuum sealed in 3-mil bags.

We carry all six sizes of Herring, with a colour code for the sizes.

BLACK is extra large 9-10”+ Ground fish & Halibut

PURPLE is large 8-9” Mostly for cut plug

BLUE is medium 7-8” Mostly for cut plug

GREEN is medium 6-7” Used with teaser head

RED is small 5-6” Used with teaser head
