Bluewater Bait Salmon Skeins are harvested whole from
spawning
Doe Chum Salmon in the fall. They are then frozen whole in
specialized containers for processing fresh during the following years
fishing season.
The process of curing these skeins takes about 11 days, and when
complete they are cut into 215 gram portions and trayed;
they
are then
vacuum sealed and refrigerated. The shelf life is about 4 months in
this environment. Used primarily for freshwater fishing in lakes and
streams.
