Sardines, also known as pilchards, are pumped from the catch vessels and immediately frozen in our custom blast freezer. We typically take our inventory in late fall when the ocean run size is larger, averaging 150gr, and the fat content is higher, 13% typical. (75 count). This product is block frozen in 10kg blocks.
